I am Derek Malone, a photographer in the Dallas - Fort Worth area. I was given my first camera when I was 8 years old, and since that time, I've had a sincere passion for the art of photography. I can remember a trip out west with my grandparents and burning through over 25 rolls of film. At that time I was only using a 110 camera. I took so many photos of anything and everything. To this day, I still have those photos packed away in my closet. Since that time, I have continued my joy of photography In late 2014, a very special person gifted me a nice digital camera for Christmas. It was definitely the push that I needed to pursue further my passion for photography. Making memories, it's what I do, and something I really enjoy.
